[Team one] ready for round two

Why hasn't anyone banned me from writing bnha fic yet?


"Don't get so cocky!" Bakugo exclaims, throwing his cards onto the table like he'd set them on fire. (He hadn't, of course, but he'd considered it briefly. The satisfaction of smoldering playing cards raining down on everyone's heads was tempting.) "It's just one game."

Kirishima grins smugly. "But it's one game that I won."

"I was so close," Kaminari wails, slightly muffled by his face pressed to the table in despair. "So close."

"Closer than Bakugo, that's for sure," Sero chimes in, grinning too as he shuffles the cards for another round.

Bakugo flexes his fingers, threatening an explosion. But blowing up Sero's face is even less satisfying than the cards would be.

"We'll just have to see how the next round goes," Kirishima says playfully.

"Who says I want to play this dumb game anymore?" Bakugo mutters as Sero starts dealing cards around the table again.

"Because you wanna win," Kaminari says, suddenly full of energy again and smirking over his own cards.

Bakugo rolls his eyes in disgust. "You have the worst poker face."
