[team four] birthday
Hello, and sorry this is a bit late from the schedule!
The day has been pretty mundane and uneventful for a birthday. One reason for that being that it’s a Tuesday and Chanyeol’s had classes the whole day. He could’ve skipped them to do something fun, but Baekhyun and all of his friends are also busy so there’s no point. Besides, they’ve promised to throw Chanyeol a proper party on the upcoming weekend.
He does get countless congratulations throughout the day, Jongdae treats him lunch and Sehun passes him an L sized bubble tea before the last class of the day. All in all, a pretty okay mundane birthday.
But for Chanyeol’s surprise, everything becomes a lot better once he finally gets home and finds a neatly wrapped present on the living room table. There’s no note whatsoever but there’s also only one person he’s given the door code to besides his mom. And indeed, when Chanyeol’s about to open the present, he gets a message from Baekhyun saying that he’ll be coming over shortly. He grins excitedly and continues unwrapping the gift. He’s happy he’s alone since he ends up making embarrassing noises when he eventually unveils the present.
He puts it on immediately.
Baekhyun arrives 20 minutes later. He’s carrying a cake box and his face lights up when he sees the sweater on Chanyeol.
“Hey, you. Happy birthday! Liked the present?”
“Are you kidding? I love it,” Chanyeol says, all giddy, and actually glomps him, almost making Baekhyun drop the cake.
The other just laughs at his enthusiasm and then promptly pulls Chanyeol into a kiss, one that’s long and intense enough to make his knees feel a bit weak.
“So yeah, thank you for this,” Chanyeol smiles when he finally pulls away and unwraps himself from Baekhyun, taking the cake from him and letting him take off his coat and shoes.
“You know, it’s from the “ugly Christmas sweater” section,” Baekhyun says and snickers when Chanyeol makes a face.
“How’s this ugly?” Chanyeol is incredulous. “It’s Deadpool as Santa Claus! It’s cool!”
Baekhyun pats his arm. “Of course it is.”
They end up huddled up on the couch. Baekhyun lights the candles of the cake, sings a very passionate Happy Birthday and takes a video of Chanyeol blowing the candles. Then he sits himself down and lifts his legs over Chanyeol’s lap, getting comfortable beside him. He takes a big spoonful of the cake and feeds it to Chanyeol, who in turn starts picking the strawberries and giving them to Baekhyun.
They manage around a quarter of the cake before Chanyeol complains that he’s full and puts the cake away. He then wraps an arm around Baekhyun and holds him close. They haven’t been seeing each other that often lately, due to both being busy with classes and part-time jobs, so this evening with just the two of them feels even more special.
Chanyeol presses light kisses on Baekhyun’s cheek, nose, temple and forehead, making him giggle and squirm a little. The laughter vibrates pleasantly through his body. He feels so content, so happy right then.
“I hope it’s been an okay birthday,” Baekhyun says.
“It’s been great,” Chanyeol smiles. “Thank you.”
He watches Baekhyun tracing the outlines of the Deadpool on his sweater and that makes him think of something.
“You know what would make my birthday even better though?” he asks. Baekhyun clearly hears the grin in his voice and lifts his head, looking at him questioningly.
“What?” He notices Chanyeol eyeing the Deadpool and rolls his eyes.
“We’ve been through this. You’re not wearing that Deadpool costume of yours in the bedroom. Not even on your birthday!”
Chanyeol chuckles and shrugs. “Worth a try.”

I LAUGHED at the ending. :''D A LOT. CHANYEOL WANTING TO WEAR A DEADPOOL COSTUME IN THE BEDROOM HAHAHA BAEKHYUN YOU SHOULD LET HIM, IT'S HIS BIRTHDAY AFTER ALL. kinky deadpool!sex, think about that...... like you wrote, worth a try, at least!!!!
