[Team One] To Rest, To Sleep
I had no idea whatsoever as to what to write so uh... random Kyuranger blurb.
“You should get some sleep, Stinger,” a quiet voice jerked Stinger out of his thoughts. “It doesn’t look like you’re getting anything done anymore.”
Stinger pinched the bridge of his nose. “Naga. How long have you been here?”
“A while. And you didn’t notice me. I know you are one of the few people who do notice me,” Naga pointed out and then offered Stinger a mug. “Raptor said to keep hydrated. The environmental controls of the ship aren’t quite fixed yet it seems. We’ll be here for a bit longer.”
“I see,” Stinger accepted the mug with a nod. “Here, huh.”
“Is that why you are so restless?” Naga looked out into space. “Because we’re here?”
“Maybe.” Stinger followed Naga’s gaze.
They looked at the clusters of stars and planets ahead of them - the Scorpius System. In the distance one could also see the Ophiuchus System and the Sagittarius System. An eerie red light illuminated the room as the light from Antares reached them.
“Can I do something to put you more at ease?” Naga asked. “Help you relax?”
Stinger wrapped his tail around Naga gently. “You’re doing plenty already. Thank you.”
“I’m not doing anything?” Naga blinked, clearly confused.
Smiling, Stinger shook his head, “You are doing a lot. So thank you.”
“I don’t understand.”
“Sometimes you don’t have do actually do anything to help, Naga. Sometimes just being there is enough help already,” Stinger tried to explain.
Naga nodded slowly. “I see.”
“Anyway. You said I should get some sleep and rest. How about joining me?” He tugged Naga along playfully with his tail. “Keep me some more company.”
“Okay.”
You're up
alchemicink. Sorry for the lame ending word.
