Very late post since this fell off of my radar completely. Sorry about that /o\

Sakura looked up from the scroll she was studying and rubbed her eyes until she stopped seeing double. "Or what? It'll make my skin break out? Can't be any worse than what the weather's already done."
"It can always be worse," Ino snapped back. "Will be if we lose one of our best healers before the battle even starts. You need a break."
"And when am I supposed to do that? We've been short healers since we left Konoha, and now we're even shorter."
"Tsunade is still down?"
Sakura nodded and poked aggressively at the scroll. "If it were anyone else, they'd be dead. We still haven't isolated the poison, but whatever it is, it's wreaking havoc with Tsunade's Cellular Regeneration technique. We have her stable for now, but there's no way Shizune is leaving that room until this is over, which is unfortunate since this sort of research is her strength, not mine."
"And you have an entire camp at your disposal right now. At least one of them has to be a research specialist. Go ask Shikamaru; this is his entire job right now on the security side."
"And he's needed right where he is."
