[Team three] for me, it was Tuesday
Today's actually Thursday, time is an illusion haha. Have a very short Stargate SG-1 snippet
SG-1, g-rated, short
"His grave may have already been dug," Jack remarks, keeping his voice low in case anyone nearby discovers their hiding spot.
Daniel shoots him an exasperated look which definitely translates to please try to stay focused while we're surrounded by the enemy on another planet.
"I mean literally," Jack continues, unfazed by any kind of scrutiny. "Those guys were out there with shovels and everything."
Sam ignores this new piece of intel and keeps her attention on fixing the tool they need to be able to thwart the Goa'uld's plans on this planet. She's gotten pretty good at tuning out the silly bickering of her teammates when she needs to.
"They would not need to dig a grave when cremation is more customary here," Teal'c points out.
"That's right," Daniel nods, pauses, and then shakes his head. "But that's not really the important point right now."
"Okay," Jack jumps in again, "fine. Let's just recap." He starts counting out everything on his fingers. "We've got a missing but potentially dead pain in the ass mafia boss, a snake with nefarious plans, Jaffa coming out the wazoo, a broken ray gun, and it looks like it might rain."
"It's not a ray gun," Sam mutters but otherwise continues to focus on her work.
"You're right. It's not exactly a great situation," Daniel admits.
The familiar echo of Jaffa boots stomping down the hallway suddenly halts the whole conversation. Jack and Teal'c grab their weapons just in case they get discovered, and Daniel tries to position himself in a spot to defend Sam.
"You know what the worst thing is?" Jack whispers as he inches closer to the door. "This is just a regular Tuesday."
