"Would you be interested in a collaboration?" Todoroki asks just as calmly as if they were still high school students and he wanted to do an extra credit project together.
"A collabor-" Bakugou sputters, indignate. "What?? Why the fuck would I do that? I don't need help catching this villain!"
He flexes his fingers like he's trying to hold back from setting off an explosion.
"But I have the intel you need," Todoroki points out. "And you have a good headstart on searching for him. It's only logical that we'd work together."
Bakugou scoffs. "Don't talk to me about logic, Mr. Only Lives Off Soba Noodles."
Todoroki narrows his eyes at the accusation. "I eat other things too."
Bakugou is about to argue back with a long list of examples to the contrary, but then realizes they're getting off topic. He waves his hands in frustration. "Forget about that! Just give me the info I need to stop this villain!"
"Sure," Todoroki nods. "I'll tell you on the way as we go together."
He starts walking, leaving no room for any more arguments from Bakugou.
This time Bakugou really does set off an explosion. That Icyhot bastard can be a real piece of work sometimes.
"We're not working together!"
