Hello. I’m ~~barely~~ alive and terribly late as always. I don’t wanna skip and have our next player start with their own words. 🙈 Please indulge me anyway? 🥺

The head on his lap shifts, and Taiga puts one hand on the back of Juri’s neck to help Juri up, while the other takes hold of Juri’s searching ones.

“Good morning, sleepyhead,” Taiga says as the hand helping Juri up eases, wrapping around the younger man instead.

Juri puts up a token protest, the poison in his body making his reflexes sluggish, but there is steel in his voice when he spits out the name of the thief who invaded his village. “She said there was a cure for my mom, right in that place. We need to recover what that wench stole.”

Taiga tightens his hold, anticipating that Juri would want to give chase, but instead, Juri asks after him.

There’s a smile in Taiga’s voice when he replies, “The wench managed to hurt you and escape our grasp, but I’m okay. Nothing else could possibly hurt me, with the worst poison running through my veins.”

Juri makes another noise of complaint, but Taiga is quick to soothe Juri’s nerves. “I’ve already sucked out as much of the poison inside you as I could, but this doesn’t mean you get to strain yourself any further. You need to rest.”
