A part of something I worked on a couple of years ago.
I'm trying to get back into this.

"You must," Yoongi thinks. "You must study. You must." Only it's not his own voice he hears in his head, but Hyeyeon's. Hyeyeon is the tiny three-year-old in the kindergarten where he occasionally works. She has the roundest cheeks Yoongi has ever seen on a person, and the strictest voice he has ever heard in a child. Those round cheeks and that strict voice, paired with the tiniest, chubbiest index finger pointing at Yoongi's face as she tells him to believe in himself and his dreams, is the greatest motivation speech Yoongi has ever gotten. It's probably taken directly from a princess-y Disney movie, but Yoongi doesn't let that thought settle in his brain. Hyeyeon's the best motivation speaker there is, even if she's rephrasing words that have been fed to her by a conglomerate.

"Oppa, you must always do your best!"

He really should study. He has an exam coming up in a couple of weeks. The syllabus is gigantic, and Namjoon has already spent a good month reading. Yoongi has spent the past month playing Minecraft on his PS4. Yoongi inhales deeply, the scent of ground coffee beans filling his nose. It's really calming, and also one of the reasons why Yoongi prefers studying in coffee shops instead of dusty libraries. When he gets home after spending hours and hours here, his clothes will smell like coffee too. Usually even more if he spills on himself too, which he is prone to do.
