[team five] high tide
I actually posted this on Bluesky about 12 days ago for ficwip’s three sentence fic challenge, but failed getting it here and tagged. I’m going to be contacting everyone on the team now to check in, since no one except serratedpearls and I have been participating for a while, so it may be time to dissolve team five.

It makes the planks creak when it rains; the old bones of the house swelling at the joints. The clouds gather, the wind picks up, and the tree trunks dance. Willy sits in the back doorway, feet dangling over the edge and occasionally brushing a leaf or two as the branches sway.
