[Team four] balancing boxes
Started a G-witch Christmas fic but ran out of steam to finish so this is less than 200 words lol
G-witch, g-rated, very short
“We’ve grown up in different worlds, but holidays always bring people together."
Lilique's voice is unrelentingly cheerful as she dumps a heavy box into Miorine's arms and then waltzes away to some other corner of the Earth House dorm, humming a jaunty tune. She does not provide any other explanation for the box before she leaves, so Miorine stays rooted to the spot.
"What the heck am I supposed to do with this?" Miorine mutters to herself.
"They're decorations," Suletta's voice chimes in, and Miorine turns to find her holding two similar boxes in her hands. Her face is mostly obscured, but peeks out just a bit around the corner.
"For what?" Miorine asks, incredulous.
"Uh, Christmas is what I think Chuchu called it."
Suletta takes a few careful steps forward, and then yelps as her precariously balanced boxes begin to tip. Miorine watches Suletta's frantic scrambling over the impending disaster, but she manages to avert the crash just in time.
Miorine turns away to hide her amused smile.
