squidgeworld collections
Admin Post:Very small admin update! I think only one player besides me has a Squidgeworld account, but I wanted to post my turn there so *waves hands*. We now have Squideworld collections that exactly mirror the Ao3 ones, so there's a parent main shirirori collection, and a child sonic shiritori collection. Use at will!

That's great! I think a lot of people are starting to duplicate their AO3 works on Squidge lately. (This'll give me a push to update mine, anyway.) Thanks for all you do to keep things organized here 💐

Out of curiosity, are you familiar with the Ourchive project? It’s currently being developed by a few fans as, not an otw-archive replacement, but something similar to efiction or even a personal archive site solution. The example/testing site is https://ourchive.gay/ and docs/info is at https://docs.getourchive.io/

Interesting! So it's a sort of open-source archiving software for people to host on their own space? I hadn't heard of it or of efiction, so I had to poke around a little to understand what's going on. Anything that helps people start building websites again is promising in my book. :)

I’ve heard over the years that people have wanted to start developing efiction again, but I don’t know if it’s ever come to anything; in the meantime, those archives have kind of been left stranded, unfortunately. I don’t know if they’d be able to migrate to ourchive (that’s still a lot of work) but maybe?
Oh, if that’s an interesting, you might be interested in fujocoded.com and fancoders.com!
