[team three] hush little heart
I’m not finished, but stuff keeps coming up and so it goes!
India Stoker (Stoker) & Morino Yoru (GOTH); PG; 123 words; kidnapping
Continues in part II and part III.
“Next time, we’ll be ready,” India says, swiping her cheek with the back of her hand. The red only smears, pulling streaks across the skin. Yoru hands her a tissue.
Yoru is leaving the coffee shop when someone drops a bag over her head and shoves her a few steps over into the open side door of a van, causing her to drop her iced coffee onto the sidewalk. The van pulls away, coffee spilling out over the ice cubes and onto the concrete, lid pushed off by the force of the fall and the weight of gravity.
The van pulls up to a warehouse, gravel crunching beneath the stripped tires. Inside, Yoru neatly wipes damp hands on the skirt of her dress.
[very much not done yet! may change drastically!]
This is for a prompt I received for Jukebox June; the saltkin, purity ring + any GOTH & stoker one (I’m also late on that!)
