[Team four] rumor has it
Not sure where I was going with this... but I'll probably figure it out eventually π
ATLA (zuko & azula), around 200ish words, g-rated
βSo, I hear your boyfriend wonβt even kiss you.β
Zuko startles at the unexpected voice, nearly dropping the stack of papers in his hands. He whirls around to find his sister leaning against the doorframe, watching his uncoordinated stumble with an unimpressed expression.
"What? That's not even true. Who did you hear that from?"
"The walls have ears, Zuzu." She steps up and joins him as he continues his walk down the hall towards his office. "People love to gossip around here."
"You're not the one starting rumors, are you?" Zuko eyes Azula warily.
She may have changed her perspective on things since the war ended a few years ago and become more of an ally than a hindrance these days, but she's still his little sister who loves causing chaos when she can.
"Please. If I were starting rumors about you, they'd be funnier."
Well that's not very reassuring, he thinks.
