Admin Post: Rule amendment - emojis

This new rule addition came up recently. It was discussed with a small poll on the Discord, but we wanted to make sure that non-discord players also get a chance to both be notified as well as provide feedback if desired. Please comment on this post if so.

Emojis

If your last word is an emoji, that is allowed. However, there is flexibility in how it can be interpreted:

• the next player may start with the exact same emoji
• the next player may swap it for any other emoji ("wildcard"), similar to how pronouns may be interchanged, or verb tenses modified
• the next player may choose to use the meaning of the emoji as a word instead, using their best judgement. For example, 👋 may be wave, waving, hello, goodbye. etc. and 😭 may be sob, sobbing, crying, sadness, etc. These substitutions may also be used if the last sentence contains an emoji, even if it isn't the last word.

After a period of time to allow for feedback, this addition will be added to the rules.
