I have to say, I really didn't expect to enjoy Koi no Yamai to Yarou-gumi as much as I do, but I find the characters all really endearing, so even though the drama isn't even done yet, I wanted to write about them. This is set during episode 7, around the middle of the episode, so there are spoilers through episode 7 of the drama! The title is a play on Nanase's name, since it's written with the kanji for "seven."

Sorry this is so late! T_T; But I'm back with another fic from Shige's drama, Zero ~ Ikkaku Senkin Game.

This centers around the character played by Tokyo B Shonen member Sato Ryuga, Shirube, and contains spoilers for episodes 5 and 9. Additionally, I want to give a warning for mentions of child abuse. The abuse in the fic is not described in detail, not sexual in nature, and not presented as a good thing in the context of the story, but it still might be upsetting to some, so please read with discretion.

At any rate, this is my personal take on Shirube's backstory and what made him the way he is in the drama!

A wild Shiritsu Bakaleya Koukou fic appears? XD; Unexpected, but I rewatched Shiritsu Bakaleya Koukou recently, and I was inspired. This pairing was somewhat interesting to me at the time I saw the movie back in 2012, but I think five years later, they stood out to me even more. The details of their relationship are extremely vague in the movie, so this is sort of a little glimpse into my idea of a possible backstory for them. By the way, I think this is clear in the movie, but “KikuKou” is the abbreviation the characters use for “Kikunaga High School” (Kikunaga Koukou). The phrasing “not half-assed” is my best delinquenty-sounding translation for “hanpa nai”, which the characters often say in the drama, but it really sounds less goofy and more romantic in Japanese, so I’m sorry about that.

I'll warn that the characters portrayed in a romantic relationship in this fic are 16/17. However, there’s no explicit content, and the actors (Tamamori Yuta and Uchi Hiroki) were both adults at the time they played the characters.

Lastly, I really didn't know how to tag this; I'm sorry! I wasn't sure if Uchi counts as a junior still, and also if I should tag for the actors' groups or just that it's a drama, or what. If the tags seem off, let me know and I'll fix it. ^^;
